Huawei's Pura 80 series will be revealed in China next week. As the launch date approaches, Huawei has begun accepting pre-orders for the Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Pro+ in its native nation. The listing shows the back design of the future phones. The Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Huawei Pura 80 Pro+ are expected to launch with HarmonyOS 5.0. Camera-focused smartphones are anticipated to be powered by the Kirin 9020 CPU.
The Huawei Pura 80 series will be launched in China on June 11. Prior to the launch, Huawei accepted pre-orders for the Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Pro+ on Vmall. The reservations will be open until June 11, 12 p.m. local time.
The listing and most recent Weibo teasers disclose the design of the Huawei Pura 80 Pro+, which is featured in a glossy red color. The handset sports a triangle camera bump, with the LED flash located between the sensors. The camera module looks to be significantly bigger than the one used in last year's Huawei Pura 70 series.
Huawei incorporated a textured design inside the Pura 80 Pro+ camera island. The camera unit takes up practically the whole upper part of the back panel. The handset features curved edges, and the power button and volume rocker are located on the left edge.
The Huawei Pura 80 series will run HarmonyOS 5.0 and are rumored to employ the Kirin 9020 chipset. Huawei is speculated to include a quad rear camera set in either the Pura 80 Pro or Pura 80 Pro+. The camera arrangement might consist of a 1-inch 50-megapixel main sensor with variable aperture, a 1/1.3-inch 50-megapixel sensor with dual focal length, a 40-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel color temperature sensor.
The new Pura 80 series will supersede the Huawei Pura 70 portfolio, which debuted in China in April last year.
